EmpowerU is an incubator for the Sint Maarten Diaspora. Based on community action, EmpowerU supports Sint Maarten students and young professionals by creating spaces for connection, learning, and support, while providing networking and career opportunities.
value statement
EmpowerU’s impact model is entirely community-driven and based on rewarding community investments. Because Sint Maarten is a small community with citizens across the globe, technical limitations and the lack of social data made it hard to consistently support Sint Maarteners abroad. As a digital organization, we believe this offers us the flexibility to cater our services to all Sint Maarteners, regardless of location; it has never been easier to host international events digitally. By creating spaces for Sint Maarten talent to share fellowship, we believe we are supporting Sint Maarten's culture and investing in the growth of the community.
